Born and raised in Chicago, Carey Ott has been making important inroads on the Indie scene since moving to Nashville from his hometown Chicago. The mid-90s saw Carey as front man for Chicago-based Torben Floor. Since then, Carey has released numerous tracks and in 2006 Carey released his critically acclaimed "Lucid Dream" CD. Two of Ott's songs from "Lucid Dream" have been featured on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy."

GVP is the Gothenburg Video Project, a group of musician-teachers in Gothenburg, Sweden, in collaboration with director Bohagey Bowes and Nashville producer/recording artist Carey Ott. Spread the Love was recorded in RI and filmed in Gothenburg. With its swirling visuals, Spread the Love is a dance that revels in the refrain 'you're a part of this world, so you're a part of me...'
