We are in desperate need of volunteers for both our Community and Site Based programs. Currently we have less than 50 volunteers waiting to be matched (with over 300 children) and very few interviews scheduled. It’s vital that we bring in more volunteers and we know that current volunteers can be some of our most effective recruiters just by helping to spread the word about the program. A few easy ways that you can help - Ø Take a minute and talk with your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors about BBBS. Often times hearing the positive experiences of current Bigs is what prompts others to sign up for the program. Ø Invite us to host an informational Lunch & Learn at your place of employment. BBBS will provide a free lunch for each employee in your office who would like to attend a lunch hour presentation to learn more about our agency. Ø Introduce BBBS within your circles of influence. Whether you are connected to a local faith congregation, civic or service club, fraternity or sorority, or other professional organizations, we would love the opportunity to host a presentation to help others learn more about BBBS.
